Looking for a CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA Qualified individual with a minimum of 8 years’ commercial experience to fulfill the role of Head of Finance fast-tracked to become Financial Director for the company. The position is based in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town, paying R960 000 – R1 200 000.

Job Description:

This role was created to split the overall company’s financials into two separate functions; to come in and implement all the systems, processes and procedures. This entire operation will involve hands-on ground-level work as well as high-level strategic functions.

Personality and culture fit is very important and will have to compliment impeccable technical skills and business acumen. The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 8 years’ commercial experience in a senior capacity and MUST HAVE a completed CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA qualification. This company is based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The position will include:

Developing and driving the organization’s financial strategy

Overseeing all financial processes bearing in mind regulatory and business requirement

Collating and interpreting financial data for reporting to management and the board

Analysing perspective business opportunities and compiling business plans

Executing fiduciary tasks to support or stand in as company secretary
