Must have a deep competence in planning, good grounding in finance, understanding the nuts and bolts; financial and economic fundamentals and product related business planning. Assist in guiding the strategic direction whilst constantly analyzing the business. The successful incumbent will be leading a process, not a team. Rubbing shoulders and engaging with Senior Executives and evaluating the business, they will have the ability to influence others. Operating different and complex business models with financial analysis and strategic planning. Relevant financial qualification



Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable experience working for a Listed Entity

Retail Industry experience

Dealing with Senior Executive, working with highly capable and technically proficient teams

Working in a complex environment, across different business models

Experience in-group planning in a large corporate organization

Working across multiple geographies at group level

Financial Modelling skills to build robust and integrated models

Understanding of accounting processes and internal controls

Ability to communicate complex and often contentious matters to a wide range of audiences both in writing and verbally

Working under pressure and to tight deadlines



Job Description:

Delivering of the Company’s strategic plan through managing the annual MTP and budgeting process.

The forecasting of forward profitability, cash flow and supporting Executive decision making with professional financial analysis.

Provide guidance and research on macro-economic trends and competitor performance across the group.

Analysing and reviewing market data to guide the group planning function.

Co-ordinate the Finance team to deliver an integrated 3-year financial plan that incorporates key strategies across the group and delivers to financial objectives.

Keeping abreast of economic developments of the industry.

Setting Group targets that align to the strategic intent.
