Lead and drive innovation initiatives for the company
Key accountabilities include: cost reduction, process efficiencies, revenue generation, conduct research, project management and team facilitation
Strategic, creative and analytic thinker who can see beyond the here and now to see how the forces of change impact the evolution of consumers, brands, companies and macro issues
Development of a trends program and applying within a business for impact. Able to connect trends work to strategic recommendations for the Line of Businesses and regions that will make a difference in their business.
Synthesize data and “connect dots”; across multiple disciplines and subject matters and translate to relevant business implications
Communicate simply, impact fully and to form presentations that crease a tangible vision of what the future might look like that business partners can grasp
Explore using innovative research methods to deliver more meaningful, actionable information and recommendations to the business
Integrate primary and secondary research into the innovation process
Overall business/ thought leadership and strategic consulting approach
REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATES
Professional qualification or Masters in related field (i.e. Business, Behavioural Science, Anthropology, Social Psychology)
Proven track record (8+ years or more) in futures and foresight, innovation insights and/r strategic consulting
Experienced in development of a trends program and applying within a business for impact
Solid front-end innovation capability including the identification of insights and translation to business strategy
Experienced using qualitative and quantitative research techniques
Consumer insights experience from a major foresight/trends agency, innovation consultancy, a fast-paced, highly innovative consumer business, or a leading company, supporting both new business/brand development work as well as on-going brands and businesses International experience desirable but not required
Strong project management and team facilitation experience and skills
