We are currently recruiting for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a Health and Safety Officer capacity. Candidate should have matric or NQF 6 and certificate in Fire Fighting, First Aid or similar.

Key duties includes:

• Implementation of the HS & E Programs on site and around
• Review of all applicable legislation and standards ensuring compliance thereof
• Regular audits of Site Safety Management Plans
• Ensure all incidents are reported
• Co-ordinate required safety training
• Ensure induction programme are followed
• Update all legal appointment letters
• Update Safety risk register 9
• Adherence to ISO9001 and ISO45001
• Conduct emergency drills
• Administration
• Ad-hoc task

Working under pressure and within a team environment will be essential. Candidates should have done Safety Representative training and previous experience in Construction or mining environment ideal.
