Up line Reporting: National Sales Manager
Leading pharmaceutical company seeks a suitably qualified / experienced Hospital Sales Representative for their Pretoria / Limpopo region who will be responsible for promoting/selling sutures and supply excellent service and support to the relevant customers in the allocated territory in order to reached the set budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Call on Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Depots and relevant surgical specialities in the allocated territory.
• Attend theatre cases where products are used
• Develop an overall territory sales plan to achieve allocated sales targets.
• Call on the key decision makers within the territory and facilitate excellent customer service.
• Promote the product range to grow the business to reach the allocated budgets within the allocated territory.
• Do the necessary product and/or in-service training within the territory to ensure correct usage of the sutures in the product range.
• Maintain the necessary reporting / administration requirements set out by the national sales manager – this includes the weekly call reports and planning.
• Authority to: Decide who to call on; Source new clients; Use initiative to solve product problems; decide where to provide training.
• Participate in marketing projects as driven by the product manager.
• Attend workshops and congresses when requested.
• Work close with the customer service department to facilitate excellent customer support and service.
• Assist all in Company product queries in the allocated territory and report to the appropriate individual.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant Diploma/Degree - B.Sc or similar
• Min. 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical / medical sales with nursing, training, hospitals involvement
• Strong Computer literacy / Proficient in all Microsoft packages
• Minimum 2 Years Public/Private Hospitals
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Good negotiating skills and proven sales track record
• Professional, self-motivated and with a passion for sales!
• Strong drive to succeed and meet targets
• Own vehicle and valid SA driver’s licence
