We are looking for a Hostess to welcome guests at a 5 star Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town The Job:We are looking for an organised, charismatic, guest-orientated individual with a sense of urgency and high attention to detail, to welcome guests and manage the reservations function.Minimum Experience or Qualification:Grade 12Must have at least 2 years experience in a food and beverage guest-facing role in a 4/5* Hotel Restaurant or Fine Dining EstablishmentExperience at operator level of a Point of Sales System – exposure to Micros advantageousHighly presentableSolid English verbal and written communication skillsPleasant telephone mannerExperience in Service RecoveryAble to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays Key Performance Objectives:To manage the outlet reservations and floor plan to optimise outlet covers while minimising “reservation congestion” in accordance with laid-down proceduresTo welcome guests and make them feel at homeTo ensure that mise en place is completed in accordance with outlet SOPTo ensure that cinema is prepared and screenings are managed in accordance with SOPs The Package:Hourly rate, plus portion of tipsDiscretionary Annual Bonus;Complimentary Staff Transport,Uniform, Laundry,Meal
