Duty Manager

Elegant City Hotel - eMalahleni

Formal hotel management qualification and at least 2 years duty management experience in medium sized hotels required.

Managing & overseeing of the daily operation within various departments where and when needed.

Communicate relevant information between departments as well as compiling a detailed shift handover.

Maintain / implement Quality Assurance standards and ensure that performance and service standards are exceeding expectations.

Ensure that all tasks pertaining to each shift is performed and completed consistently, accurately and in accordance to hotel operating standards.

Leading, training, motivating and maintaining staff discipline in accordance with hotel policies, standards and guidelines

Computer literacy with special focus on POS, Opera, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Excellent communication skills in English, written, verbal and telephone etiquette.

High level of leadership and motivational skills.

Must be guest service driven, dynamic and resourceful, extremely passionate for this industry,
a team player with a positive attitude.

Time and resource management, planning and organizational skills are essential.
