We are looking for a enthusiastic young Reservationist to join our team. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Grade 12, formal 3-year hotel diploma and a further minimum 1 years working experience in Reservations and 1 years’ experience in Reception in a 4 or 5* hotel required. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years working experience in a 4 or 5* hotel in the Front Office department including at least 2 years working experience in Reservations exclusively required.2. A minimum of one years working experience in Reservations on OPERA PMS essential.3. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English essential, paying particular attention to spelling and grammar.4. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.5. The position requires extensive administration skills and good numerical skills. 6. Attention to detail regarding the controls at Front Office absolutely essential.7. Good judgment, common sense, initiative8. The ability to display a high degree of professionalism and integrity at all times.9. Excellent guest relation skills including the ability to deal with difficult guests.10. Excellent staff relation skills required i.e. a team player.11. Excellent computer literacy skills including a variety of computer software applications, including OPERA and Microsoft Office Suite.12. Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.This is a single live-in position which includes a unit fully equipped with lounge/bedroom/bathroom with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, all meals and laundry. The position involves shifts and flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
