HR Business Partner: Shared Services – Medical Scheme - Pretoria

The HR Business Partner: Shared Services (HRBP) will report directly to the Senior
Manager: Corporate Services and forms part of the Corporate Services Division.

The HRBP will be required to translate business objectives into strategic HR initiatives and
contribute to business growth, profitability and high levels of employee engagement.

Performance Areas (KPAs):
? Strategic alignment of HR to the operational objectives, plans and policies of the organisation;
? Attraction, recruitment and selection of competent and experienced employees;
? On-boarding of newly appointed employees;
? Coordination of training and development to ensure growth and development of
? employees;
? Coordination of the performance management processes;
? Management of succession planning to enhance overall commitment and performance
? of employees;
? Governance, administration and reporting on HR matters;
? Finalisation of the exit process;
? Foster employee relations and engagements;
? Promote organisation culture and values; and
? Oversee and manage the Shared Services functionality.

Qualification and skills requirements are:

Essential
? A Minimum of a 3 year Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology;
? Minimum 5-8 years’ work experience with at least 3 years at management level;
? Registration with SABPP would be an added advantage;
? Be organised and have good time management skills;
? Be analytical and have the ability to manage priorities;
? Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
? Have the ability to work well as part of a team;
? Be computer literate on advanced level;
? Must have advanced Ms Excel skills;
? Be responsible and reliable;
? Have a diligent work ethic with attention to detail;
? Self-motivated and pro-active;
? Have strong negotiation skills;
? Have resilient pressure management abilities;
? Ability to provide advice and engage with various stakeholders; and
? Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle and be willing to travel at short notice.

Desirable
? Have an understanding of the medical scheme industry.
