Position: HR Officer Temp

Reports to: HR Professional

Are you a self-motivated and passionate individual, who has passion for HR, Talent Acquisition Training& Development and Organisational Development? This role is responsible for assisting the HR Professional with tasks related to HR.

You will
* Manage all aspects of recruitment and selection processes
* Coordinate induction programmes and probation reviews for new employees Ensure performance appraisals are conducted on time
* Engage with relevant managers to address poor performance Analyse and prepare relevant statistics on performance reviews
* Analyse training needs reported in performance reviews, liaise with HR Professional and managers where necessary and prepare schedule
* Coordinate and advise on disciplinary and/or grievance investigations and hearings Support the HR Professional in developing and implementing training and development initiatives when required
* Training and development records maintained in compliance with BEE requirements Ensure all job profiles are in place and up to date
* Offer support to the HR Professional in designing and implementing various OD projects
* Offer support in maintaining the Compass Programme
* Develop and implement an approved Employee Wellness Programme
* Refer employees to Careways for professional assistance as and when required Retain relevant documentation for audit purposes
* Support the department in financial administration, ensuring payment of suppliers within finance procedures

Qualification and Experience:
* Relevant Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the HR field
* Sound knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes (including but not limited to: advertising, sourcing, screening, assessing, and evaluating).
* Working knowledge of Labour Legislation.

Skills:
* Computer literacy with regard to the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
* A valid Code EB (08) driver’s license and own transport required.
