Salary: R10 000 – R20 000 - Depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Human Resource Officer at a prestigious and well known wine estate. The successful candidate must be dynamic, energetic, strong work ethic, high standards, excellent administration and communication and the ambition to grow with this organisation. Min of 3 years’ experience as a Human Resource Officer and a Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management.

Job Summary:
As a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. The candidate must have experience with Payroll.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Management of “Training and Development” in the organization (Citrus / Wine / Hospitality)
• Ensures that information received from new employees is complete and all necessary documentation attached
• Responsible for the administration of training
• Compilation of training budget
• Confirms employment of employees to external institutions
• Handles all internal enquiries and provides advice and gives guidance on personnel related matters
• Educates staff on matters relating to Human Resource policies and procedures and conditions of service
• Maintain Health and Safety file and arrange all administration surrounding Health and safety.
• Employee contracts.
• Induction of new staff
• Exit interview and termination of staff
• Correlate and submit expense claims on a monthly basis – Salary staff
• Facilitate the ordering of PPE
• Employment equity (EE) facilitation i.e scheduling and chairing quarterly meetings.
• Meet all BEE requirements through training.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 with 3 year qualification in HR.
• At least 3 years’ experience in HR admin environment.
• Excellent knowledge of the BCEA, LRA and CCMA experience.
• Must have knowledge and experience relating to Health and Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate on all levels in the business.
• Displays self-motivation and drive to achieve task objectives.
• Ability to work independently, accurately and well under pressure.
• Must display strong admin skills and act professionally and in confidence at all times.
• Ability to act professionally at all times and handle matters with the necessary confidentiality.
