Overview and Main Function
We are looking for a committed people’s person. Must be mature, be able to handle pressure and work with labour. A person who has highly developed people skills, patience and extremely organised and methodical. To ensure the company complies with all labour laws. Manage and develop staff as well as administer all Human Resources functions within our KZN branch

Objectives and Key Areas
? Participate in consultations with management and staff
? Coordinate recruitment activities including shortlisting, processing applications, maintaining interview records, interviewing candidates and
conducting selection tests
? Manage induction of permanent and temporary staff within the branch
? Manage probation periods and employee temporary contracts
? Manage the performance appraisal and quarterly 121 processes
? Conduct manpower planning processes
? Manage terminations and exit interviews
? Ensure proper maintenance of employee records
? Counsel employees on policies and /or personal matters
? Reviewing job descriptions
? Provide advice to line management regarding conduct, misconduct, disciplinary and grievance matters, including attending CCMA on behalf
of the Company

Requirements
? Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources and Industrial Relations Management
? 3 years minimum experience in a HR environment
? Fully computer literate in MS Office
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
? Project management
? Industrial Relations and Training experience
? Business acumen
? Thorough knowledge of all relevant legislation
? Ability to work under extreme pressure, be adaptable and have a high regard for confidentiality
