Purpose of the role:

A global Aviation Company is looking for applicants for a Supervisor (HWT) position based at their offices in Randburg, Gauteng. This position ensures efficient running of the Harvey World Holiday Travel team in order to maximize productivity, customer satisfaction and revenue growth through the fulfilment of customer queries.

Main Functions:

To lead and supervise the HWT team to ensure that the team delivers in terms of set performance expectations
To ensure the delivery of prompt and efficient service to enhance customer satisfaction and increased revenue
To perform relevant people management functions within area of accountability
To broaden and maintain product knowledge in order to extend the best possible service to customers
To effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (essential).
• Tertiary qualification in Travel and Tourism or related field (Essential)
• GDS qualifications (Amadeus, Galileo) Essential
• Sabre Interactive/ Host certificate (Desirable)
• Advanced International Fares & Ticketing (Essential)
• BSP certificate (Desirable)
• IATA/UFTAA certificate (Desirable)
• QuikTrav (Desirable)
• 5 years’ experience in a IATA accredited corporate travel agency handling domestic & International reservations, ticketing & refunds (Essential)
• Of which
• 3 years’ experience as a senior travel consultant in an IATA accredited corporate travel agency handling domestic and International reservations, ticketing and refunds (Essential)
• Fully servicing various types of clients (corporate/leisure, merchants & ITC’s) (Essential)
• 2 years supervisory/team leader experience (desirable)
