Main Job Function: Responsible for the installation and maintenance of ICT infrastructure cabling for both temporary and permanent installations. To provide technical and administrative support for the CCTV, Access Control, telecoms and data network systems administered by the ICT department.
Reporting to the: ICT Infrastructure Manager
Key responsibilities:
? ICT Systems Maintenance: Ensure all CCTV, Access Control, Telecommunications, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Wireless systems are operational. To ensure service availability.
? Operational Support: Ensure that all ICT services provided by external service providers are operational and report all risks and potential failures. To ensure supporting ICT service availability.
Desktop Support: Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. To ensure that supporting services are available to the business.
? Client orientation and customer focus: Identify opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers.
? Service delivery and communication: Ensure that all clients at the CTICC are provided with a high quality service, ensuring value for money service, plan thoroughly before events, take part in daily briefings, and attend staff meetings weekly.

Qualifications and experience:
? Matric certificate
? Relevant Technical Certification
? 2-3 years relevant experience in an ICT or Integrated Systems environment preferably in the hospitality industry.
Experience with fibre optic, RJ45 Ethernet, RJ11 Twin Pair telephony cabling and
equipment, Co-axial cabling, wireless technologies, servers, virtualisation in a
production environment.
? Events experience (Preferable)
? Integrated Systems experience (Preferable)
? Own transport (Preferable)
