This top leading private hospital is seeking an ICU Trained Senior Professional Nurse (SPN) to be a second in charge (2IC) in their ICU unit. Facility is located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities of this Registered Nurse:
• Provide support to the Unit Manager in the day-to-day management of the unit
• Assist with the supervision and co-ordination of personnel in the unit
• Ensure the provision of quality, safe patient care by both oneself and the nursing team
• Assist with in-service training on junior or new nursing staff

Requirements for this position:
• A post basic Diploma or Certificate in Critical Care Nursing Science is a requirement
• SANC Registered Nurse
• Prior experience in a Critical Care unit is a requirement.
• Competent in the demonstration and assessment of all clinical procedures and management of risks.
