Find your perfect job! We are looking for ICU Trained Registered Nurses with shift leader experience to join a 7 bedded ICU in a historic private facility in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of the patient.
• Continuous monitoring & assessment of patients to detect abnormalities & pre-empt complications
• Implementing doctor’s orders and accurate record keeping
• Administering medication via all routes & drug calculations
• Assisting or initiating Advanced Life Support
• Counselling family members
• Controlling stock and equipment in accordance with hospital policy.
• Identifying and addressing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) needs.
• Ensuring a therapeutic and safe patient environment by maintaining health and safety standards and complying with infection prevention and control policy.

• Be registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Be ICU Trained – post basic in Critical Care is essential
