Our client, a leading Destination Management Company in Cape Town, is looking for a German Speaking Incentive Consultant with minimum 2 years experience (handling groups, incentives, knowledge of MICE suppliers in Cape Town and South Africa).

Responsibilities:

• Writing descriptions and liaising with clients (in both German and English)
• Preparing Budgets and Itineraries for MICE groups
• Operational handling of groups and inbound incentives in South & Southern Africa
• Preparing proposals (mainly PowerPoint and Excel)
• Negotiating with suppliers, mainly English
• Reconciliation (financially) of projects
• Handling all invoices and payments regarding clients and suppliers
• Ongoing research about suitable services & products
• Familiarizing with products used for MICE groups

Requirements:

- German Speaker (first language) is a bonus (with valid Work Permit for South Africa)
- Fluent in English and German (excellent communication skills)
- Min. 2 years experience in Incentives and dealing with groups
- Ability to work under pressure according to deadlines, ability to work unsupervised
- Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm or 10-7 or 8-5 (normal office hours cannot always be guaranteed)
(if work over weekends is required from time to time, the days worked will be granted as extra leave)
- Team player and flexible
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and any other graphic programs are a bonus
