Job Summary
A well-established supplier of laser line levels, testing equipment and construction products into the construction / mining / engineering / hardware and retail industries requires qualified and experienced sales agents to proactively promote and sell our products as well as maintain customer relationships within the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Maintaining sales volumes
• Developing new business
• Conducting equipment demonstrations for customers when required.
• Attending to and resolving customers’ enquiries.
• Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.
• Arranging and attending client meetings.
• Compiling quotations and following-up on orders.
• Meeting monthly and annual sales targets.
• Identifying areas of growth within the region and identifying possible strategies to enable this.

Minimum requirements for the role:
• Degree / Diploma /Grade 12.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience “direct selling” within the construction / mining / engineering / hardware and retail industries
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be technical minded with strong sales capabilities.
• Own vehicle
• Laptop / computer / cell phone
• No criminal records /clear ITC record
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Have entrepreneurial skill
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Goal driven
• Assertiveness
• Good self-management skills
• Presentation skills
• Negotiating skills
