We have a permanent position available for an experienced Industrial Compressor Sales Representative.

Applicants must have Compressor Sales experience as well as a minimum of 5 years sales experience in selling Capital Equipment.

Required Skills
selling : 5 to 6 years
compressor sales : 5 to 6 years
Technical Equipment Sales : 4 to 5 years

Candidate Requirements
Std 10 (Grade 12) plus a Technical Qualification. (Degree or Diploma)
A minimum of 5 years Compressor Sales experience.
Valid drivers license.
Own reliable transport.
Proven track record.

Job Content
To represent the interests of The Company at the customer, while also representing the customer’s interests at The Company.

Duties and Responsibilities
Increase and maintain the Companies market share at existing customers.
Promote full range of products at the existing customers.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities at ‘new’ & ‘dormant’ customers.
Prepare and achieve annual budgets. Regular planned calling on specific customers.
Build up personal and intimate relationships with customers.
Ensure that the company is the preferred supplier at customers by applying the necessary skills and knowledge.
Identify and cultivate new, commercially viable, business opportunities, using the companies product range.
Regular planned calling to customers.
Provide technical on-site support to customers.
Provide strong and active field representation of the company products and services with Industrial Distribution partners and end user customers.
Maintain a strong presence in the market place and execute tactics and actions to achieve sales and profit targets.
Apply a consultative selling methodology to establish the company as a friction
management provider who assists its partners and end user customers in meeting their own business objectives.
Build strong relationships with these accounts to grow sales and market penetration.
Relationship development with current and potential customers.
Seek and feedback market intelligence to the business.
Ensure that the company is listed as an acceptable brand on customer purchasing systems.
Maintenance of customer information database on Sales Force
Produce appropriate weekly and monthly reporting.
Travel as required by the job.
