Responsible for attending, advising and administration on all IR related matters like disciplinary issues, union matters and grievances as well as general HR administration duties (i.e. appointments and terminations). Must have a relevant IR qualification and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with working knowledge of the LRA, BCEA and Sectoral Determination for Hospitality Industry.Brief summary of job description but not limited to:All misconduct and disciplinary issues (counselling, warnings, hearings & dismissals)Absconding lettersAny grievancesUnion meetingsCCMA casesLabour Department InspectionsAppointments & contracts of employmentFollowing up on fixed term contractsFollowing up on permits that are expiringTerminations (dismissal, resignation and other)Poor Performance Consultation & process.Workman’s Compensation ClaimsExit interviews on requestQuarterly staff awardsHealth and Safety Committee memberMust be computer literate: MS Office.
