Responsibilities:

To effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of the Industrial Services division, assuming complete responsibility for its performance.
Proactively engage with the Procurement team to ensure the most cost-effective sourcing and efficient outsourcing of non-core manufacturing activities.
Enhance business operations by establishing collaborative frameworks that connect the division with national and international Business Units (BU’s).
Provide operational feedback to the line manager or CEO, offering valuable insights and updates.
Generate forecasts for operations, including Profit and Loss (P&L) reports, production data, and execution reports.
Contribute to the development of the strategic framework for the BU, aligning it with national, international, and regional objectives.
Ensure that Departmental Managers, their staff, project managers, and engineers complete projects in line with the following criteria:
Full compliance with the Company’s safety and statutory requirements.
Adherence to technical and quality standards as defined by Engineering and Client specifications.
Completion within the agreed schedule.
Cost management within the established budget.
Collaborate with the Finance and Administration Division to ensure the timely and compliant processing of client invoices, project orders, and supplier invoices, following the Company’s procedures.
Take on full responsibility for meeting the site Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) requirements in your role as the designated 16.2.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Approved tertiary qualification in Engineering or assessed equivalent competence.
Experience in project management of heavy industry engineering shutdowns and refurbishment projects
Minimum five years’ experience in a similar environment, with a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience.
Commercial contract experience essential (NEC / FIDIC / Bespoke)
Water & wastewater treatment experience an advantage
Proven track record of operational management and improvement
Leadership skills.
Financial acumen.
