Purpose

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, our Client, a Leading retailer is looking for a results-driven Buying Insights Manager who can support the marketing strategies that improve customer lifetime value and engagement.

The output of the role will primarily support commercial buying strategies and opportunities. The incumbent will be responsible for synthesizing all relevant data to provide actionable recommendations that are aligned to Company Strategy. This individual will own the commercial relationship with our leading global customer Insights company. They will be expected to provide innovative learnings to the Commercial Buying team which will contribute to more focused supplier collaborations.

Qualifications Business Related Degree

Experience

Developing and executing comprehensive Commercial Strategies based on ERP (SAP) promotional data
Interpreting Bonus Buy performance from and ERP perspective and recommending Solutions that will contribute towards profitability and growth
Experience in the Supply Chain, Planning, Including Forecasting (Advantageous)

Knowledge

Protection of Personal Information Act
Electronic Information Act
Consumer Protection Act
Content Management Systems
Management of Loyalty Programmes
G - Suite
Understanding of SAP
Deep Understanding of Digital Marketing

Profit Generation from Digital Direct Marketing Campaigns from Suppliers

Analysis and utilisation of key rewards reporting to identify viable rewards customer member opportunities.

This is a senior role with great responsibility with regards to strategic design and implementation.
