INSPECTOR– (CONTAINER)

Our client a leader and a large established concern within the Manufacture Industry (Containers), is seeking to employ an experienced container inspector at their offices in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Position Overview
Determining whether a container is unsuitable for cargo can greatly reduce the risk of liability for firms exporting goods. Candidate must have experience as an inspector, who has the experience and qualifications to verify the structural integrity of containers.
Qualifications and knowledge required:
• Grade 12
• Certificate and or training received.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience.

Competencies:
• Knowledge of box containers (Inspection and Reporting).
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of box containers.
• Own transport.
• Willing to work away from home every now and again.
• Passport will need to be obtained for possibility to work oversee.
• Experience in QC
• Pressure vessels
• Welding qualifications
