Roles and Responsibilities
The company is responsible for generating and supplying wind electric power and other utilities on an island in the mid-Atlantic Ocean. The scenery is breath-taking and the life is robust. If you enjoy fishing, water sports and hiking and want to earn GBP this is the place to be.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of instrumentation, control and electronic systems at the company.
The sphere of responsibility includes power generation, water and sewage treatment systems and the electrical distribution network as required.

• Safety of people and equipment
• Planned maintenance
• Maintain service records
• Fault finding
• Compile and maintain documentation relating to instrumentation and control systems, including: system drawings, manuals, monthly reports etc
• Work closely with others to assist with continuous improvement etc
• Motivate and support system improvements
• Maintain adequate spares
• Perform repairs
• Coach and develop colleagues

Skill Set
• ND Instrumentation and Control
• 5 years’ experience with a utility company
• 2 years SCADA, or similar, and PLC experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Wind turbine maintenance an advantage
• Working at heights experience and advantage
• Flexible, adaptable, well organised and practical•
