PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide the company with a sustainable, integrated, lean operating model that substantially improves the current business processes

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Strategy Formulation:
• Establish policy and framework to support the company strategy.
• Identify/benchmark existing lean operating models
• Assess applicable tools for the company
• Create a Competence Centre for cross functional co-ordination
• Alignment with DCO's strategic direction.
• Gain full EXCO support with nominated divisional representatives
Business mapping:
• Map current business focusing on strategy, structure, forums, meetings, KPI's, policy, process, procedure, systems, IT, governance, standardization etc
• Evaluate current operating performance and efficiency
• Determine a needs analysis including hardware and systems support
• Present a detailed implementation plan for EXCO approval

Configuration:
• Establish a transparent, participative configuration process controlled from the Competence Centre.
• Configure the entire company satisfying the needs analysis, implementation plan and EXCO
• Inspire organizational "buy in" I acceptance
• Commence training of the company Operating Model

Implementation:
• Manage the approved implementation plan utilizing the Company-Operating Model
• "Go live" with software system according to roll-out plan
• Train and support until stable
• Highlight and manage shortcomings
• Support, Customization and Continuous Improvement:
• Support and train as required
• Continuously update standing forums, meetings, KPI's, agenda's, attendance, etc in line with the business requirement and improved efficiency
• Generate management reports, evaluate exceptions and rectify
Management:
• Planning, budgeting, leading, organizing and controlling the activities of the function.
• Stay abreast of technology and management trends.
• Manage personnel
• Coordinate interface with Company IT function, improve Company relations.
• Manage SLA's
CRITICAL
• Industrial engineering I process management skills
• Information and scheduling systems
• General management program/Project management.
• Negotiation skills.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Previous process/project management experience
• Total applied experience 5 years plus.
• Sound knowledge of Company processes will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Qmuzik will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy.
