Interim Head of Finance | Sandton

We are urgently seeking a skilled, dynamic, commercially astute and strategic Finance Executive for an interim (6 month) role as Head of Finance in the banking space.

You will assume a strategic role that includes leading and supporting the financial functions and decisions of the business.

You will need to meet the following requirements:
• Possess a degree in accounting or finance
• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CIMA - non negotiable
• 8+ years finance / financial management experience, with at least 4 years relevant experience in senior financial management roles
• Must have experience within the Banking space (strongly preferred) or the broader Financial Services sector as a minimum
• Demonstrated the ability to set performance metrics, manage the accounting and treasury functions and finalise relevant reports
• Have the business acumen, leadership skills and fortitude sufficient to be an effective strategic partner to the divisional / cluster CFOs and CEOs
• Possess strong leadership capabilities complemented by a collaborative approach to business management

• Demonstrating analytical skills by applying logic and sound reasoning to determine the facts, understand cause and effect and demonstrate the necessary savvy to apply good judgment in complex situations
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to “roll-up the sleeves”.

Package: Highly negotiable and commensurate with experience
