We have an exciting and challenging new role available for an experienced person who enjoys working in a innovative and forward thinking environment. The purpose of the role is to assist the automation testing delivery, by scripting and maintenance of the regression test pack encompassing Capfin’s software landscape.

The Intermediate Automation Test Analyst will also work with the Lead Test Analyst (Automation) and Lead Functional Test Analyst in achieving the Testing department’s strategic objectives.

Key Performance Areas:
Automation Implementation and Maintenance
- Analyze all aspects of current testing landscape and assist Lead Automation Test analyst with determining strategy for implementation of new automation framework/s, within the Visual Studio IDE
- Take the lead in maintenance of the automated regression test pack

Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft .NET (version 4.0 and or higher) development suite, particularly C# and WPF and CodedUI
- Exhibit proficiency in SQL Server 2012 development of stored-procedures, functions and triggers
- Be able to maintain solid technical documentation practices for all automation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of software development and design best practices to deliver high quality results
- Proficient with MS Team Foundation Server for source control, unit testing and automated build capability

Qualifications:
- 3-year tertiary qualification in a relevant financial/IT related field of study

Experience:
- At least 4years’ experience with .NET technologies (VB.NET, C# or CodedUI)
- At least 1 year experience working with webservices (SOAP / WSDL)
- At least 2 years’ experience working with SQL Server (development of stored-procedures, functions and triggers)
