Qualification:
Matric
Relevant IT Degree (BTech (IT), BSc or BComm) or Diploma

Skills & Experience:
3 years of Business Objects experience
Experience must include administration, security, backup and restore, and user support processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving and metadata skills
Demonstrate experience in data modelling (relational and/or dimensional data modelling), ETL design, Business Objects Universe

Job Description:
The Analyst Developer is responsible for the development of Business Objects reports and Analysis of business requirements
Ability to translate business requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects
Advising & recommending on appropriate reporting
Recommendations and cost estimates for implementing changes
Analysis and documentation of changes required to systems
Design of prototypes
Maintenance of existing reports
Development of new reports
Testing of own reports
Testing of interfaces to other systems
Provision of test information to Business Solutions
Implementation of changes into the production environment
Problem solving and user assistance for own systems supported
Technical support assistance to others on own technology
Provision of user guides / training material for own system
Support and assistance with DRP (Disaster Recovery Process)
Management of own time and delivery of tasks according to deadlines
Manage Business Objects Proof of Concept projects and future software upgrades
