An intermediate Java Programmer is required for one of the top software companies in Cape Town.
Our client is one of the fastest growing tech companies out of the mother city who build a variety of business-based solutions for various clients across the country.
This multi-tech environment is looking for an experienced developer who will for part of a highly successful team and assist them in delivering and maintaining web, desktop or service-based applications.

Key requirements:
• Between 4 – 6 years’ experience as a developer
• Proven background building Java based systems
• Strong understanding of OOP and enterprise development
• Technical knowledge of the following: Java (Java 5.0 fundamentals), GUI (Swing / SWT), JDBC, Servlets, EJB, Tomcat, Maven, Spring and Web Frameworks (Struts/JSF)
• Oracle, DB2 and SQL Database knowledge
• Web technologies such as HTML, JSP, JavaScript and Ajax
• Experience in both Linux and Windows environments
• Hold an IT related Degree or Diploma
