CC&B Test Cases

• Test Analysts to verify the current list of 2058 CC&B Test Cases with CC&B functional leads and Eskom’s Testing Centre of Excellence. Test Analysts to update the list if required.

• Review, Analyse and Document the verified list of CC&B Test Cases in the form of a Business Test Case.
• Review, Analyse and Capture the verified list of CC&B Test Cases in HP QC according to the Eskom HP QC Standard for capturing test cases.
• Participate in test preparation and execution for one or more test plans including System, Business and DVT test phases
• Review appropriate project documentation to understand the requirements and design
• Develop test artefacts including test conditions, test cases, test data, and expected results
• Establishing requirements traceability and test coverage
• Execute tests and document test results
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
• Log all defects and track through retest to closure
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Escalate any risks and inform the Test Team Lead or Test Manager of any issues that may affect the schedule
• Adhere to standard test methodology and processes
• Attends test-procedure walk-throughs
• Manually executes the test procedures
• Designs and develops test procedures and cases, with associated test data, based upon functional and non-functional requirements
• Conducts tests and prepares reports on test progress and regression
• Follows test standards

Requirements:
5-7 years experience
Degree or IT qualification
