Intern / Junior Design & Media Position available in Pretoria:

Exonika Designs is looking for a Design and Media candidate to grow our team:

- Adobe Core Knowledge: Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign
- Any programming / web development knowledge
- Social Media Experience
- Print Knowledge
- Videography / photography experience is a plus
- Design or Media Diploma / Degree / Experience

Your key duties will include but not be limited to:
? Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriate designs / media;
? Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
? Researching and developing skills to better perform design and development tasks and projects.
? Determine the message the design should portray
? Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
? Determine the message the design should portray
? Create images that identify a product or convey a message
? Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
? Select colours, images, text style, and layout
? Present the design to clients or the art director
? Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
? Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
? Create website layout/user interface by using standard WordPress/CSS practices
? Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
? Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
? Create and maintain software documentation
? Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
? Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
? Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Office Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00, Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00
