We are looking for an Internal Audit Manager for a client based in Johannesburg.

Education / Qualifications:
- Chartered Internal Auditor, with strong academic track record

Experience Required:
- 3-5 years post qualified experience, preferably with exposure to the consumer goods environment

Duties & responsibilities:
- Establish the internal audit charter for approval by the audit committee
- Scope the internal audit work program on an annual basis and motivate for approval by the audit committee
- Design, perform procedures in accordance with the work program to test the effectiveness of internal control and suggest improvements
- Obtain responses from and agree action plans to address deficiencies with management
- Formally report to audit committee meetings on outcomes of reports and status of outstanding items
- Follow up on reports to ensure control weaknesses are adequately addressed
- Will require travel to South African and European operations

Salary negotiable depending on experience
