Internal Audit Consultant
A vacancy exists in the Centurion Office of a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for an Internal Audit Consultants to commence duties as soon as possible.
Main Responsibilities
• To execute internal audit projects
Responsibilities will include:
• Must have internal audit experience and skills
• Develop and maintain sound client relationships
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Planning, executing and reporting on assignments in accordance with required quality control standard; office policies and management
guidelines, and within allocated timelines and budgets
• Project Management
• Review the work of juniors
• Finalization of working papers and relevant reports for managers review
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent
• SAICA or Internal audit articles completed at a South African auditing practice
• At least 5 years’ experience;
• Must have strong experience in Public Sector across all spheres of government (national, provincial and local)
• In-depth knowledge of various legislative prescripts such as PFMA/ MFMA and SCM regulations
• Experience in private sector will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of the local market
• Strong technical skills in internal audit
• Caseware knowledge/ experience
• Teammate knowledge/ experience
• Pastel knowledge/ experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Valid South African driver’s license
• Own transport
