Your job responsibilities as the Internal Auditor in Johannesburg will include:

- Perform Internal Audits as assigned in the Group Internal Audit Plan - The audits will be varied and will encompass reviews of business processes, regulatory compliance, capital adequacy, governance, risk and IT
- Audit planning, scoping, fieldwork and reporting
- Complete Audit working papers in accordance with professional standards
- Attend meetings with Group senior management to validate Audit findings, and to develop, in partnership with the business, pragmatic and commercial Audit recommendations which mitigate the identified risks
- Develop appropriate recommendations for governance, risk management, compliance and internal control enhancements as part of Internal Audit reporting
- Ensure appropriate distribution of draft Audit report and assume responsibility for working with management to agree corrective actions
- Understand the current and developing regulatory and legislative rules and guidance which affect the Group
- Develop the relationship between Group Internal Audit, the Group Risk function, and Group Compliance

Requirements for this Internal Auditor job in Johannesburg:

- Qualified CA(SA)
- Solid background in Internal Audit
- Financial Services Experience - Ideally Investment Management, Wealth or Insurance
- Broad understanding in Risk, Regulation and Internal Controls & Operations
- Strong report writing experience
