Our client, a food production company in Randfontein, is looking to employ a Sales Administration Clerk for their offices on the West Rand. The position reports to the Sales Co-ordinator and Administration Manager. This position must ensure the important communication to assure client demands are met in a proficient manner; sustain and strive to keep customer service to the highest standards; ensure timeous delivery dates with correct delivery instructions and correct product and to provide essential support to Sales Representatives, ensuring accurate order information in the shortest time possible.

Minimum requirements
• Minimum Matric/Grade 12 secondary education with mathematics and accountancy/bookkeeping practices knowledge;
• Excel computer spreadsheet skills;
• Financial computer software experience (SAP an advantage);
• Minimum 1 year administration experience (advantage Sales admin environment);
• Bilingual with good communication skills;
• Able to work under pressure, accurate and organised;
• Have a positive disposition with leadership qualities.

Duties will include:
• Liaising with Sales Reps and distribution department regarding orders;
• Liaising with Debtors and pricing admin to authorised credit limits and release of orders;
• Daily Open Orders report maintenance
• Ensuring that orders in the system updated/cancelled to new minimum levels with pricing levels changes.
• Customer service: delivery enquiries; new order placements; Key Accounts orders; First-time purchasing; Listed products enquiries.
• Follow up on orders;
• Downloading of all direct EDI orders i.e. retail Groups/stores
• Cash Sales handling;
• Checking stock transfers to the relevant depots.
