Our client, a leader in the Pipe Coupling & Valve Manufacturing industry is looking for an Internal Sales person for their factory in Chamdor in Krugersdorp

Main Purpose of the Job

The position is customer service driven which includes general duties such as quoting, loading and following up of orders, invoicing and related internal duties. Working in conjunction with our external sales representatives as the key technical advisors and product advocates for our products and giving them and the customer’s feedback with regard to order status.
The applicant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Reporting Structure

The internal sales will report to the Customer Service Centre Manager Mr. Odyseusz Galazka

Responsibilities
Managing and interpreting customer requirements
Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
Quotation processing in the VAG LEEGOO Konfigurator
Order processing in SYSPRO (in a later stage in SAP)
Negotiating tender and contract terms
Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
Administering client accounts
Preparing reports for Management
Meeting regular sales targets
Recording and maintaining client contact data
Co-ordinating sales projects
Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
Solving client problems
Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
Maintain Sales Force Dot Com SFDC Management Program

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
2+ years technical sales experience (Internal or External)
Good computer skills
