A scientist with a passion for sales is required to act as an internal technical sales person for a supplier of consumables to clients in the area of Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology. Duties will include carrying out demonstrations for prospective customers; presenting seminars for prospective customers and interacting with high profile customers.

Requirements: BSc Hons or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or related. Valid driver’s license, own transport required and valid passport essential. Sales training will be provided though sales experience will be considered advantageous. Have good interpersonal skills, due to: person will be necessitated to do demonstrations for prospective customers and person will be necessitated to do Seminars for prospective customers.

Additional skills required: Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English and be able to read and understand Afrikaans. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
