SALARY: Negotiable/Market related

Description
A large private hospital facility situated in Cape Town requires the services of an experienced Inventory Manager. Applicants must have vast experience in stock control with strong management and persuasion skills.

The key responsibilities of the position:

Manage the systems and processes to ensure that stock levels are achieved and maintained.

Manage the inventory functions of the Hospital and Pharmacy stock

Participate in the quality programme to ensure continuous improvement to procurement, management and supply of pharmaceuticals

Ensure compliance to ISO9001 procedures

Provide inventory management training and support

Education/skills requirements:

B.Degree or Diploma in Logistics or Warehousing management

3-5 yrs logistics/inventory management experience essential

Experience in Inventory management position

Strong computer literacy skills

ISO9001 knowledge and experience essential

Strong management and persuasion skills

Detail orientated

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally on all levels within the hospital and external suppliers
