The ideal candidate would be/would have been a detective in the police - not fraud or forensic.
Due to the nature of this position, the candidate must be fit and healthy.
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF level 4).
Any further education in policing/investigations will be highly beneficial.
Three (3) to Five (5) years Crime Investigations Experience.
Valid code 8 drivers licence.
Duties:
Maintenance and inspections:
2.1.1 Review the utilisation and maintenance of security equipment.
2.1.2 Communicate security needs and problems to senior management.
2.1.3 Supervise shifts rosters, off days, leave taken, etc. for all Security Guards,
and Assistant Investigators, to ensure all operations runs smoothly.
2.1.4 Do regular site inspections (Daily) and ensure to cover all the vulnerable
areas.
2.1.5 Do unscheduled (surprize) inspection to identify any non-conformances in
security personnel area of responsibility.
2.1.6 Ensure all security officers and supervisors are disciplined.
2.1.7 Ensure all Assistant Investigators are performing their duties.
