A leading Transport Company based in Johannesburg, has an opportunity for a top performing IR/HSE OFFICER to join our professional management team.
The ideal candidate will be competent, self-motivated with excellent communication skills and exposure in the manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER the prime responsibility in this position will be to drive the IR/HSE FUNCTION of the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle and Management of all Industrial Relations issues of the site.
• Responsible for the Management of ALL Health & Safety Rule, Policies and Procedures
• Take charge / manage the disciplinary process after a matter / incident is reported
• Investigate and take required steps / discipline in line with policy = issue relevant warnings
• Act as initiator in disciplinary hearings - lead evidence on behalf of company
• Make recommendations in terms of procedures and processes
KEY TRAITS REQUIRED
• Good knowledge of BCEA, Labour Law, Code of Good Practice and CCMA Processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent and resourceful as well as the ability to multi-task
• Highly reliable and confidential
• Relationship building and networking skills at all levels

QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources
• Above average knowledge of MS Office
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience

This position will be based in Johannesburg.
