Salary: R6500 – R9500 per month

Requirements:
Grade 12 certificate
1 – 2 years’ relevant experience as an IT Administrator
A relevant IT qualification (MCSE, A+, N+, Google certification, etc)
Good communicator - written and verbal
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
Intermediate knowledge of MS Windows, OSX, MS Office, Active Directory, Google Apps
Basic knowledge of file servers, MS Exchange, firewalls, mail, DNS, web hosting servers
Additional qualifications, skills & attributes:
Web development, programming, WordPress experience
SQL / MySQL or other database experience
Customer service experience

Duties:
First-line technical support for Microsoft WIndows, Apple OSX, Microsoft Office, email, browsers, and all back-office software used in the course of business
After-hours support via phone and teamviewer for people working remotely
Routine maintenance of all hardware
Setting up workstations, installing hardware and software
User, access and permissions management (MS Active Directory and Google Apps)
Web hosting, DNS and domain management
Maintain IT inventory, source quotes and place orders for new hardware
Maintain IT consumables, source quotes and place orders for consumables
Liaison with all 3rd-party ITC service providers
Provide basic training to staff for software used in the business
Ordering, collecting and setting up sim cards and modems with airtime and data
Daily backups
Send out alerts when any systems go down
Identify and create new alerts that need to be sent when systems go down
Identify and propose new systems or hardware needed for the office
Propose cost saving strategies in the business, moving to the cloud and reducing IT risk
Creating weekly and monthly reports based on data from firewall, PBX, email systems etc.
