Skills and competencies required:

• Knowledge of a number of platforms – e.g. Windows 9X, 200X, Unix, AS400, SQL Server, Oracle:DB2, Firewalls, Networking devices
• Knowledge and/or experience in data analytics
• Knowledge of ERP Packages (e.g. SAP) – an advantage
• Experience with General Controls and Applications Controls
• Knowledge of CAATS (ACL, IDEA, SAS, etc.)
• Report writing skills
• Experience with the preparation of an audit file

The successful application will be responsible for:
• Manage the delivery of IT audit projects for complex/challenging engagements in line with agreed profitability and value targets;
• Manage key client relationships;
• Identify and exploit business development opportunities;
• Co-develop and document the engagement risk management approach, ensure adequate consideration of the risks and review working papers;
• Manage multiple audit assignments;
• Perform detailed information technology audit reviews to assess the client’s risk factors and perform related audits to confirm that the risks are mitigated;
• Reporting to the Audit Committee;
• Act as an advisor to management regarding the impact of information technology on the internal controls of the business;

Qualifications and experience required:
• BCom Accounting/B.Com Information Systems/B.Com Computer Science
• CISA compulsory
• CISSP, CISM, ITIL or similar and advantage
