Well established firm based in Pretoria require an IT DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN, with proven track record, to start ASAP.
Requirements:
Matric qualification (Essential)
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Valid driver license and own transport Essential
Knowledge in Remote Desktop Software (Team viewer Advantage)
CompTIA A+ (N+ Will be an added advantage)
At least 2 years in IT support
Essential technical skills:
Above average knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and above)
Knowledge in Anti-Virus programs & Internet Browsers is essential.
Troubleshooting Skills
Work Shifts on a rotating basis
Occasional Travelling to clients including sleeping out
CLIFF Call logging
Essential soft skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a desktop platform
Ability to pay close attention to detail, be punctual, adapt to fast pace environment, young & energetic, Quick Learner and “out the box” thinker.
At least 2 years in Desk Top support
Ability to Work accurately under pressure
Provide product feedback/customer suggestions to Support Manager
Prioritizing & Multi-Tasking Ability
Salary: R10 000 – R13 500 depending on experience and qualifications
