POSITION: IT Enterprise Solutions Sales Representative
TYPE: Permanent
AREA: Linbro Park, Sandton AND Thornton, Cape Town
SALARY: Basic R10-15kpm based on experience plus favourable commission structure

ROLE:
External Sales Reps to sell and promote turnkey solutions to corporate end users for all IT hardware and Software requirements including Servers, Storage, Networking, UPS, VOIP, Virtualisation and Convergence.

ESSENTIAL:
Must have experience in cold calling and canvassing with a high success rate in generating new business.
Experience negotiating and liaising at Executive level.
High success rate in volume licensing sales.
These positions are best suited to “hunters” as it entails minimum account management and mostly finding new business and generating own leads.
Must have Matric.
Must have your own car and a valid driver's license.

ADVANTAGEOUS (qualifications not essential but experience or knowledge a must):
• 2 Years business solutions or IT hardware and software external sales and new business development experience targeting end users (not telesales, not retail sales, not channel/distributor sales)
• Proven Sales Track Record in concluding successful agreements with end users (not channel/distributor)
• Ideally previous experience in new business development and sales of:
o Servers – Blade, Rack and Tower (Dell, HP)
o Storage - (HP, Dell, Equallogic, Compellent)
o Server and Networking Racks
o UPS and Generator Solutions (APC, Eaton, Delta)
o Backup Solutions (HP and Dell LTO tape and disk to disk backup solutions)
o Networking (Dell PowerConnect, HP Proliant, Cisco Catalyst)
o Installations, Maintenance and Support.
o Virtualisation Solutions (Dell VStart and HP Virtual System)
o Vmware and Hyper V virtualisation; licensing and implementation.
o IT rentals
o Hosted Exchange, archiving and backup solutions.

• The following vendor certifications are advantageous:
o HP Computing Systems Specialist (Servers, Storage, Networking)
o HP Service One Gold Partner.
o HP SMB Storage Gold Partner.
o Cisco Select Partner
o HP Network Specialist.
o Dell Preferred Partner
