Doncour Recruitment are wanting your experience as: INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER - IT Durban (urgent post)

•Responsible for maintaining the Company’s Hosted Infrastructure environment, from design through implementation, support and monitoring.

•Assist with design and implementation of infrastructure projects locally and internationally.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Must be in possession of a National Diploma in Information Systems related Degree/ Diploma.

•Relevant certification courses such as A +, N+, MCDBA, MCSE

•3 - 5 Years experience in infrastructure support role

•Experience in database maintenance and support

•Experience with Microsoft SQL server

•Experience with IS&T business continuity and DRP

•Experience with Networking Wan, LAN and Communication Technologies

KNOWLEDGE OF:

•Knowledge of VMWare product suite, Microsoft SQL server and Windows Server products, active Directory

•Knowledge of IT systems and monitoring and management tools

SKILLS REQUIRED:

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be passionate about IT and eager to learn, and take on challenging technical situations

•Self driven person, that’s takes the initiative to get things done.

•Ability to work under pressure.
