A well-established, market leader in the fruit industry, seeks to employ an experienced IT Manager with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate must be capable of supporting the Company’s dynamic and fast-paced environment, provide a remarkable IT service to the business and have the ability to cooperate within a diverse team.

Job Description:

* Manage, develop and maintain the IT infrastructure of the company
* Manage and oversee all IT operations, new projects and system integrations
* Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive
* management team
* Maintain overall security of the Company’s network, systems and data
* Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintain Microsoft operating systems and applications, SQL systems, cloud platforms as well as third party software
* Ensure high availability of critical business systems hosted by the Company
* Owns and maintains strict controls on data/system backups and recoverability
* Develop and manage relationships with vendors in support of system support
* Determine, recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades for business applications, service hardware, network equipment, desktop and laptop, etc.
* Internal & External support to all entities (office and farm visits)
* Day-to-day support in terms of IT queries and resolving software & hardware related issues onsite and remotely
* Implement & maintain new or existing desktop infrastructure (PC’s, networks, laptops, printers, telephone- and POS systems etc.)
* Continues network monitoring of all entities
* Troubleshooting and feedback on all IT related issues
* Keeping abreast of the latest technology and tendencies

Requirements:

* Relevant IT qualification with at least 7 years IT Infrastructure and operations experience and 5 years IT Management experience
* Ability to manage diversity and change within a dynamic environment
* Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
* Excellent understanding of network technology
* Willing to travel and working outside of normal office hours from time to time
* Advanced functional knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office and Apple Mac.
