If you are looking to start a brand new job in 2015 with plenty of growth potential then now is the time to apply. We are looking for Junior Request Analysts to provide LAN Administration & Support to customer and all on-site support teams.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Technical
- Carry out Server and Workstation based admin
- Remotely distribute applications – eg. via Zen, SMS.
- Alert the Service Desk of any Server / Network failures or potential failures
- Monitor server and network capacities
- Advise the SDM / Ops Manager / customer on the impact of adding applications / systems to the existing infrastructure

People Management
- Communicate all progress of requests to customers.
-Escalate any issues or problems to the Customer Service Desk and Line Manager
- Provide statistical
- Escalate potential service issues

Administration
- Administer and track all new requests/server requests/installs on the Call management system, owning the request from receipt to completion.
- Continually monitor the outstanding workload on the call management system
- Provide documentation for addition to the site procedures file
- Ensure that out-standing requests are kept within acceptable levels.

Knowledge/Skills
- Main IT platforms, methods and applications
- Operating systems (eg. NT4, Windows 2000) – eg to MSCE level
- LAN OS (eg Novell NetWare, Unix, & Windows NT) – eg to CNE / MCSE level
- LAN Architecture & Cabling Topologies – to manufacturer accredited level
- Network protocols & WAN architecture – to manufacturer accredited level
- PC hardware & software configuration
- Windows application knowledge
- Call Management Systems

Essential Qualifications
- Matric Education
- ITIL Foundations
- Demonstrable LAN Admin experience in similar environment
- A+

Desirable Qualifications
- N+
- Technical Qualification (EG. MCSE, CNE, CNA)
