What we will expect you to do: 
As an IT Sales Specialist you will need to:

Develop solutions
  • Analyse the client’s situation and business requirements through awareness and good questioning, use your depth of knowledge on the specific solution or service to personalise the recommended solution in line with the clients need by using relevant case studies to build credibility.  
  • Ability to demonstrate capability (features, advantages and benefits) at a detailed level, and offer unique perspectives and align insights to key client priorities and tie those insights back to the company’s unique differentiators.  
Meet financial metrics
  • Contribute to the pre-sales process by working with Solutions Architects to craft the best solution design for the client.
Vendor engagement
  • Work closely with vendors to understand their strategies for solutions and services and articulate the roadmap and associated impacts for clients. 
Enable sales
  • Ability to generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs, and then effectively articulate how the company can add value through our services and solutions. Leverage your specialist skills and knowledge of technology solutions and services to assist and influence the client at every stage of the buying cycle, and to position the company favourably compared to competitors.
  • Ability to influence and work closely with vendors, partners and internal employees to achieve the required results.
  • Understand the competitive environment and can effectively pursue and select specific deals that will have a profitable result for the company by displaying knowledge of how the client’s opportunities aligns with the company’s strengths, the urgency drivers for the client and the client’s current relationship with the company.

  • Using your expertise to contribute to the knowledge base of the company’s solutions and services by sharing best practices and lessons learnt with clients.  
 
Here’s what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

Key requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years working experience
  • 3 years’ experience specifically in sales
  • 2 years’ experience specifically in Solutions and Services
  • Good English language skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Account planning
  • Preferably has some sales experience in working with IT Outsourcing Engagements
