Job Information
We are seeking staff members to support our clients I.T. Infrastructure using our RMM Platform, attending to incoming support tickets daily and also to perform on-site work as is required. The candidate will have a professional Microsoft Certification and necessary experience in supporting Microsoft Office, Windows 7,8,10 and Server 2012 R2 platforms. Strong administrative and management skills are required and the correct person will be able to communicate directly with clients as relates fault-finding of equipment, sales of new equipment and methodologies. The candidate will be responsible to manage the Helpdesk function of our RMM Platform and Ticketing system and to control technician movement. The role has the ability to migrate to a more senior support position.

SYNOPSIS:
Provide IT Support and maintenance functions to varied clientele, with specific regard to Server Functionalities, Personal Computers, Networks and related IT installations.
The candidate will receive a market-related salary, vehicle allowance and company-only use mobile phone.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Candidates must have 2 – 5 years working experience with the following:
Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012 R2, Microsoft Small Business 2008 and 2011 – Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
Administration of Microsoft Small Business and standalone networks
Network and Router configuration – ADSL, VPN, Wireless
Desktop support – Troubleshooting, Installation, Assembly
The successful applicant must have demonstrable skills in the following areas at advanced level:
Microsoft Active Directory (Design/Implement/Administer)
DNS/DHCP (Design/Implement/Administer)
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and related components (Implement/Administer)
Windows 7,8,10 and Office 2007 – 2016 (Implement/Support)
ISP Services such as ADSL, Domain, DNS, E-Mail and Web Hosting.
Configuring Network Devices such as Routers, Wireless AP’s and Switches.

REQUIREMENTS:

Post-Senior Certificate qualification essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Microsoft Server Architecture Support and Maintenance sector
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Server Hardware Architecture, Network Routing and LAN/WAN Maintenance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Computer and Peripheral Repairs sector
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008/2012 Platform, specifically AD and Group Policy
A+ Technical Training
MCSE (Specifically for Network Administration) essential
Net+ qualification (Specifically for Network Installations) advantageous
Excellent Telephone communication skills
Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Good Client relations, Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Own reliable transport and driver’s license
Ability to handle rejection
Positive thinker with Sober habits
