Well established IT comapny based in Montana is seeking a young dynamic new member to join their team as a helpdesk IT technician.
Description
The position will involve the following areas of responsibility
• Responsible for workshop and Level 1 support
• Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
• Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Providing desktop and some server support
• Supporting and maintaining MS Windows Desktops
• Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
• Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
• Fault finding to laptops and desktops
• Reporting faults and maintaining desktops and laptops
• Mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes
• Escalating IT issues to the IT manager where necessary

Other
• Working extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable
• Ensuring that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers
Minimum Requirements
A+ and N+ certificates completed and MCP
Must have 2- 3years relevant working experience in a similar role
Must have valid drivers licence and own transport.

Working hours is 5 days a week from 8:00 - 17:00
and 1 week a month on call
Will have to travel to clients from time to time.
Salary R10 000.00 CTC
